Griffon Group, LLC was originally formed in 1999 to provide assistance to Public Housing Authorities using the innovative HOPE VI Program created by Congress to revitalize their inventories of distressed Public Housing. Since then, Griffon Group has evolved into a company with three distinct areas of focus: the implementation of Federal Housing and Urban Revitalization Programs; the workout and turnaround of troubled real estate, especially those utilizing Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and other federal programs; and, producing assessments of real estate assets, programs, policies, legislation, funding requests and development proposals.
